Stuart Archibald is highly qualified and experienced teaching professional; he is the head professional at Forest Hills Golf Club having held the post since March 2010.
Stuart spent a year teaching golf at one of Ireland’s premier resorts before a spell in Queensland, Australia.
In 2000, Stuart returned to the UK and started an apprenticeship with the P.G.A at Burford Golf Club in Oxfordshire, where he spent 5 years playing in regional and national competitions and learning the P.G.A way under the tutorage of Mike Ridle, the head pro at Burford.
Having achieved his P.G.A qualification with Merit, Stuart moved on to the Vale Golf And Country Club as head assistant and one of five professionals at the Worcestershire Club. Where he worked along side head professional Richard Jenkins and had ex Ladies European Tour player and Head of Retail Caroline Griffiths as his boss, Stuart developed his passion for teaching.
Having been a founder member of Forest Hills Golf Club, Junior Captain and Junior club champion, he was delighted to return to the club after 5 years at the Vale to take the post of Golf Professional.
Since returning to Forest Hills, Stuart has continued his passion for teaching the game, attended many lessons from leading teachers and sports psychologists to help develop his ability to deliver results from his tuition.
He can cater for any standard of player from beginner to professional.
He is also heavily involved in Junior golf and taking golf into schools in Gloucestershire, to deliver Tri Golf and Golf Extreme at Grass Roots level.
